Camp Thank You Letter

In class we have been writing 'Thank You' letters to the parents who came on camp with us in Week 5. This is my letter to George, Gabby's father who was my group leader. I have printed this and sent it to him as well.

Please enjoy and remember to leave a comment.

Dear George,

I would like to thank you for joining in most of our games and helping both teams with support and kindness. I appreciate  you giving up your time and waking up super early to make breakfast. Thank too for helping prepare lunch, and dinner.

You show love towards all the Year 7s and 8s by asking if they need help to find anything or asking if they are okay. You did everything you could to make it fun. My favourite part was you telling Kata, Gabby and I in the car your life time story of how you came from Africa. I also enjoyed how you met all types of people on your travels. You are a big inspirational person and without you I would have been late to most of my Activities and would have let my group down. I just want to give you one last thank you for the support and this letter is to show my appreciation.

Thank you,

From Keita.

  1. Keita your letter is very kind. It must have been really interesting to learn George's life story. Maybe next time proofread your writing and use a reader-writer to speak what you have written to ensure there are no mistakes for example: "Thank too" rather than "Thank you" or "You show love " rather than "You showed love". Was this the best camp you have been on?
